| Installation and Operation |
|
- Install the unit with the air flowing through the Apache in the direction indicated by the arrows.
- A 4-foot section drain line with 1/8 NPT connection is supplied with each of the automatic drain assemblies.
- The automatic drain assemblies are equipped with a stem to the side to release contaminates in the bottom of the bowl.
- Install unit in a vertical position with the drains located ont the bottom.
- Longest life of the point of use APACHE elements are obtained with the installation of an RTI ELIMINEX COMBO in the mainline.

| Maintenance of Unit: |
|
- Prior to inspection and any maintenance remove air pressure from the bowl assembly. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SERVICE UNIT WHILE UNDER AIR PRESSURE.
- Remove and replace first stage element part number 3P-060 every 6 to 12 months or as required by the filter change indicator. When the indicator changes to red the filter element will require replacement.
- Replace second stage Oil Extractor element every 6 months or as required by the filter change indicator.When the indicator changes to red the filter element will require replacement.
- Clean and inspect drain assembly every 2 months and whenever the elements are serviced. To clean use a mild soap and warm water, Do not use solvents.

- The APACHE Application Dryer System is designed to remove all the water condensates, dirt, and oil aerosols from the compressed air, at the Prep Stations and Paint Booth Applications.
- The APACHE will prevent "fisheye" where oil carryover is present. This is a frequent problem with older compressors or systems with screw compressors.
